Thought of the day: Plan Ahead
I’m all for living in the moment. Believe me…I’m the total “happy-go-lucky” type but plan ahead people. A little self-awareness goes a long way. Be aware of the situations at hand…be aware of your surroundings…just be aware in general. Having to paint yourself in a corner leaves you with no choice but to hinder your previous efforts. No fun.
Thought of the Day: Fair Trade
I never thought I could fall in love with someone in a relatively short amount of time…..then again, someone once told me whoever said “Never say never” just said never twice. My sense of time has always been a little off to begin with anyways, so I’ve always trusted my gut feelings instead of what what a clock or calendar may say. I meet you, I like you…I say I’m going to call you tomorrow = I’m going to call you tomorrow. Even on a friendly surface, I usually tell people the moment I decide that I like them. Sure, I’m a little unorthodox…but, unorthodox may catch your attention because it’s noticeable. Noticeable becomes likeable if people can see that your methods come from a good place. Likeable’s a good foundation for bigger and better things that MAY occur. Maaybe. If not, that’s okay too. I’m perfectly fine with it because the type of people that I’d want to surround myself with are capable of seeing that process. I can fall fast, and I can fall hard. Scratch that. I fall fast AND I fall hard. I’m a hopeless romantic at heart. It’s nearly impossible to attain the picture perfect moments that only films can depict, but to me…hope will run continuously because “nearly” is the key word. Should I happen to fall in love again as quickly as I have before, the right girl isn’t going to tell me that I don’t know what love is. Who knows what love is anyways? Love is a multi-purpose room in high school, when you’re in it…you’re not sure what to expect. How bout that? How bout love is involuntary. How bout love is wanting to trade everything FOR love.

People are gonna tell you no all the time. Live a little and defy. Freakin fall in love with someone on the internet. Eat bacon everyday. Drop out of college, make beats and tell the president he doesn’t like black people. Whatever the case, life wouldn’t be worth living if you never colored outside of the lines. Spread your wings. Get ‘em clipped. Get back up. Repeat.
It really is.
